It’s something that affects every part of life from the physical to the mental, social, and economic, with the journey back to independence often being a challenging one. That’s why we have a Peer Support team. A group of passionate individuals who have lived experience with a Spinal Cord Injury and are there to support you and your family.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapists support you to live independently, working with both the physical and social aspects of your life so you can get the most out of your rehabilitation journey. Our Assistive Technology and Home Automation team will research suitable state-of-the-art technology for your home or workplace to help simplify your daily life.

We offer tailored demonstrations and trials of assistive technology solutions to help you make an informed decision.

During your session, our Assistive Technology Mentor or Occupational Therapist will work with you one on one, providing impartial information and guidance about assistive technologies available.

Getting started is as easy as 1, 2, 3.

  1. Make sure you have a current NDIS plan which includes ‘Improved Life Choices’. This covers plan management fees, so there’s no out of pocket cost to you. If you don’t have ‘Improved Life Choices’, don’t worry. Just speak to your Support or Local Area Coordinator about having it added
