Our newly opened Healthy Living Centre situated in Cairns was carefully designed with attention paid to every detail in making it fully accessible for people living with spinal cord damage.
A first for North Queensland, our centre, which is situated on the Cairns esplanade, enables our guests to benefit from its closeness to cafes, restaurants and local attractions. The Assistive Technology room features innovative and cutting edge devices and technologies available for guests to trial with guidance from our Occupational Therapists.
Our Skills Area is ideal for newly injured guests. Providing a safe and non-judgemental environment where you can practice your mobility skills by manoeuvring around a mix of terrains, including ramps, curves, stairs and varying surface types like grass, rubber and asphalt. Helping you feel confident within your everyday life.
