Funding your visit
Support that works for you – and with your plan
Whether you’re planning a stay for yourself or someone else, we’re here to help make funding simple.
Many of the services at the Healthy Living Centre, including accommodation, therapy and personal support, can be funded through the NDIS, as well as other sources like private insurance or self-funding.
For NDIS Participants
Depending on your plan goals, you may be able to use NDIS funding for:
- Short Term Accommodation (STA) – often used for respite stays
- Medium Term Accommodation (MTA) – for those transitioning from hospital or into a new home
- Core Supports – to cover personal care and support during your stay
- Capacity Building – to fund therapy and rehabilitation services such as physio, OT or hydrotherapy
- Assistive Technology (AT) – for assessments and equipment trials
We encourage you to speak with your Support Coordinator, Plan Manager or Local Area Coordinator (LAC) to confirm what’s possible in your plan.
For Referrers and Support Professionals
If you’re a Support Coordinator, Allied Health professional, Discharge Planner or Case Manager, we’re happy to provide quotes, reports, or supporting documentation to help secure funding approvals for your client.
We work in collaboration with other service providers, so if you’re helping someone transition from hospital, looking for a safe place for respite, or building capacity through goal-based therapy, we’re here to support you too.
Other Funding Options
Not with the NDIS? That’s okay. We also work with:
- Private and state-based insurance schemes
- Self-funded clients
- Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) and other third-party providers
We’ll work with you to provide the information you need for funding approvals, or to tailor a stay that suits your budget.
